Legendary metal icon Ozzy Osbourne will return to the site of one of his most infamous incidents when he visits the Alamo in San Antonio, TX, for a History Channel show.
In 1982, an inebriated Osbourne was onsite for a photo shoot and decided to relieve himself on the Cenotaph monument across the street from the Alamo, a stunt that got him banned from San Antonio for 10 years.
As San Antonio Express reports, Osbourne’s promotor Greg Wilson explained the situation to them in 1992. “You know, I don’t think anyone would have even noticed what he was doing except that he was doing a photo shoot with the English music magazine Melody Maker and he was dressed in pink tights and ballerina shoes. He wandered over to the side of the statue and there he went.”
Osbourne will return to the Cenotaph on Thursday to officially apologize.
