Widespread Panic joined Umphrey’s McGee as those bands to pay homage to late Yes bassist Chris Squire, who passed away on Sunday after a long battle with leukemia. On Sunday night, the band jammed a snippet of “The Fish” by Yes during one of their “Drums” segments.
The show marked the close of Panic’s annual Red Rocks run. The band also broke out a couple of tunes that hadn’t been played in a while, a “Degenerate” made its first appearance since 10/24/14 and “Lean On Me” was played for the first time since New Year’s Eve.
Panic will celebrate the 4th of July holiday with a run in San Antonio, TX this weekend.
