Alabama Shakes’ latest Sound & Color has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, marking the band’s first album to top the charts.

The album, released on ATO Records on April 21, moved 96,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music. The bulk of the album’s overall unit launch was powered by traditional album sales, as the record sold 91,000 copies making it the band’s best sales week ever.

Alabama Shakes’ first full-length album, Boys & Girls peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 nearly a year after its release.
