Billy and the Kids will play a special April 20 show at the Ogden Theater in Denver, CO. Along with celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, the band will honor the 25th anniversary of the Dead’s Spring ’90 run by playing a “Spring ’90 Revisited” set with Dominic Lalli sitting in on sax to mark Branford Marsalis’ collaboration with the group on the first night of that tour. The setlist for the show will focus mainly on selections from the band’s tour that year with Marsalis, which began with a notable performance on March 29, 1990 at the Nassau Coliseum.

Tickets to the show will go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM via the venue’s website. Billy and the Kids is Bill Kreutzmann, Aron Magner, Tommy Hamilton and Reed Mathis. The ensemble made their debut at Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam in December and have big plans for 2015.
