On Thursday night in New Orleans, Gregg Allman joined Dookey Shoe at the Maple Leaf as a part of their early evening show. Allman and his band (many of whom comprise Dookey Shoe) performed the following day at the city’s Gretna Heritage Festival. Dookey Shoe is Peter Levin, Scott Sharrard, Ron Johnson, Jay Collins, Art Edmaiston and Terence Higgins. Levin, Sharrard, Johnson, Collins and Edmaiston are all a part of Allman’s current solo band.
