Gov’t Mule invited Dirty Dozen Brass Band saxophonist Kevin Harris to join them for a few songs during last nights show at the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge. The band also had to deal with an area wide power outage, which forced them to delay the start of their second set.

Harris sat in with the group during set two for “John the Revelator” before returning to help them with their entire encore, which featured a take on “That’s What Love Will Make You Do” and a rendition of “Soulshine” that was sandwiched around a “John The Revelator Reprise.”

Gov’t Mule will continue their tour tonight with a show at the Horseshow Tunica in Tunica, MS.
