Singer Alecia Chakour and saxophonist Cochemea “Cheme” have joined the lineup for Freaks Ball XIV. The New York-based musicians will appear as special guests on a bill that already includes Stirrers featuring Eric Krasno & Neal Evans (Soulive/Lettuce) & Joe Russo (Furthur), Superhuman Happiness and Wolf! feat. Scott Metzger. The show-the annual event thrown by taste-makers the NYC-Freaks—will take place at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, February 1.

Chakour is a member of Warren Haynes Band as well as various Royal Family Records projects. Cheme is a longtime member of Robert Walter’s 20th Congress and is currently part of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings. Both musicians have performed at Freaks Ball in the past.
