The Deadly Gentlemen, Tony Trischka, Michael Daves, Infamous Stringdusters/Punch Brothers co-founder Chris Eldridge,
Kristin Andreassen, the Steam-Powered Water Taxi Boys are among the acts set to perform at The Seventh Annual Brooklyn John Hartford Tribute. The evening-long celebration will take place at Brooklyn, NY’s Littlefield on January 31. According to a statement from the event’s promoters, “The performances will reflect John Hartford’s stylistic base, with bluegrass, banjoed-up electric rock-n-roll, and old-time fiddle spread across two stages, over four hours.”

Trishka will be joined by his former Skyline bandmates Barry Mitterhoff, of Hot Tuna fame, and Danny Weiss, as well as Michael Daves and Mary Olive Smith. Musical Director Jordan Shapiro says, “It’s great to have this incredible line-up of stars and local talent paying tribute to John Hartford, whose influence continues to reverberate, more than 10 years after his death and almost 50 years since his career began.”

The show will also feature a number MCs that will entertain the crowd with comedy, burlesque, magic and other theatrics along with more performances by Eric Robertson & Duncan Wickel, The Amigos Band, Luke Richardson & Stephanie Coleman, Choban Elektrik, Cricket Tell the Weather, Big Eyed Rabbit, Alex Mallett, Sean Condron, Chris Miller and Melody Berger.
