Justin Townes Earle will celebrate the life of Woody Guthrie in October. Earle will headline the In the Spirit of Woody Guthrie event at New York’s The Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University on October 26 and 27. The event’s homepage explains, “the night will include Justin’s original songs in the context of the continuing legacy of Woody Guthrie in his centennial celebration year.” Deer Tick’s John McCauley and Joe Pug will open on October 26 while The Low Anthem and Joe Pug will support on October 27.
