Gov’t Mule have returned to the studio to begin work on their ninth studio album. The quartet are recording their new record in Connecticut and documenting the process oin an official studio journal. Longtime Warren Haynes guitar tech. Brian Farmer has also posted some photos on the band’s Facebook page. Gov’t Mule released By a Thread in 2009, and Haynes released the solo album Man in Motion last year. The quartet will kick off a series of shows at Little Rock, AR’s Riverfest on May 25.
