Several musicians will come together to play a benefit for former Allman Brothers Band and Great Southern guitarist Dan Toler. The benefit will take place at the Cox Capitol Theater in the ABB’s Macon, GA hometown on March 10. Toler was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease a few months after his brother, onetime Allman Brothers Band drummer Frankie Toler, passed away. In addition to the Toler Tucci Band, the March 10 benefit will feature Jimmy Hall & Drippin Wet, Davin McCoy & the Coming Attractions and additional guests. Dickey Betts & Great Southern and Warren Haynes both performed at a recent Toler benefit show.
