Boston based musician/activist Brian O’Connell presents his original rock opera, Over The Line, at Boston’s Spontaneous Celebrations on Saturday, February 4. Known for his bass playing with Uncle Sammy, Gordon Stone, and Gary Backstrom, O’Connell will showcase this new original project in a theatrical setting complete with over sized puppet actors, spoken word, and a 10-piece band with 8 singers. According to the release, “Over The Line is a high concept, low budget rock opera about ideology, indoctrination, unwritten rules, and inner transformation.”
The performance will take place in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston at Spontaneous Celebrations, a non-profit community center that focuses on community arts and festivals.
All proceeds from the performance will go to benefit the cultural programming and operations of Spontaneous Celebrations.
