Esperanza Spalding, the Wayne Shorter Quartet, Tangerine Dream, Get The Blessing and the Dorantes/Garcia-Fons/Theodosii Spassov Trio are among the acts slated to appear at The Montreal International Jazz Festival. The annual multi-venue celebration will take place throughout the Canadian city from Thursday, June 28 – Saturday, July 7, 2012. Gianmaria Testa, the Eliane Elias Brasileira Quartet, CéU, Chris Botti, Strunz & Farah and Van der Graaf Generator will also perform at the multi-day event. In addition, James Taylor will play a special, intimate pre-festival event in Montreal on June 27. Hundreds of additional acts will be confirmed in the coming months.
