KDubalicious in Fredericksburg last month
On Monday night Keller Williams hosted his 11th annual benefit for the SPCA of Fredericksburg, Virginia. The show which took place at the Fredericksburg Field House featured a set from Williams’ KDubalicious project followed by a solo set. The opening frame with Jay Starling on keys, Mark D on drums and Williams on bass offered a number of selection from Keller’s new release Bass, including “Buena,” “High” and Thinking Out Loud.” KDubalicious also offered covers of David Bowie’s “Golden Years” as well as the Grateful Dead’s “Golden Road,” “Comes A Time” and “Feel Like A Stranger.” The second set also revisited the Dead catalog with “St. Stephen,” along with such Williams originals as “Breathe,” “Cadillac,” “I Am Elvis,” “Cookies” and “Skitzo.”
Tonight it’s on to The National in Richmond, VA for “Keller’s funky throwdown featuring 3 sets of music – one set of KDubalicious, one set of The Pimps Of Joytime followed by a loopy dance set by Keller.”
