Keller Williams returned to Asbury Park, NJ’s The Stone Pony on Friday night. Keith Kenny opened the show and later joined Williams onstage for a short jam that led into a version of Grateful Dead’s “One More Saturday Night” reworked to reference Friday night. Kenny played guitar while Williams handled synthesizer duties. Williams revisited the Dead’s songbook later in the night when he sat in with The Juggling Suns Project during their late night show at the venue. The one-man jamband emerged for a cover of the Dead’s “Eyes of The World” that moved into “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” before returning to “Eyes of the World.” Williams is off until a November 30 appearance at Durango, CO’s The Abbey Theatre.
