Dean Ween will discontinue the fishing website he hosted from 2008-2011. In a message the Ween guitarist says, “It is with great sadness that I announce the demise of my old website for fishing reports as well as our online Fishing Show from Spring of 2008 to Spring of 2011. Sometime early [this week] the Brownie Troop FS website will be taken down from the web and the content permanently deleted. This includes not only all 12 episodes of The Brownie Troop Fishing Show but also 4 years worth of fishing reports with photos and memories. Facebook and email now serve as the source of my fishing reports and video. Please visit the website one last time if you’d like and download any fishing show episodes for safekeeping. Many of them are preserved on youtube but not all of them. Special thanks to all of the people that were crucial to this great website—especially Marc Schmidt-Casdorff, Nick Honachefsky, Lars Peterson, Thea Wolfe, Jim Woolsey, and Greg Frey.
