Ocote Soul Sounds have confirmed a series of December dates. The psychedelic-driven, analog funk-infused, Afro-Cuban group is led by Antibalas founder Martín Perna and Grupo Fantasma’s Adrian Quesada. The ensemble recently released Taurus, a well-received collaboration with producer Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation. Before their December tour, Ocote Soul Sounds will play a hometown show at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest this coming weekend.
