Kung Fu opened for Indobox at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl on Tuesday night. The members of fellow rising jamband Dopapod-who recently moved to New York—attended the performance and joined Kung Fu during their set. Dopapod guitarist Rob Compa emerged first for Reuben Wilson’s “Got to Get Your Own” and Deep Banana Blackout’s “Bringing up the Rear.” Later in the set, Dopapod bassist Chuck Jones replaced Dave Livolsi on a version of Billy Cobham’s “Stratus” that morphed into an extended dubstep jam.

Dopapod and Kung Fu will share the stage later this month at Southbridge, MA’s for “A Nightmare on Mill St” event on October 29.
