John Scofield has confirmed a series of US dates in support of his new studio album A Moment’s Peace. The album—which finds Sco focusing on more melodic sounds—was released yesterday. For most of these shows, Sco’s touring group will feature Michael Eckroth on piano, Ben Street on bass and Gregory Hutchinson on drums. He will also reunite with Medeski, Martin & Wood and the gospel-themed Piety Street for shows at Bear Creek. As previously reported, Scofield will tour Europe next month with Nigel Hall, Andy Hess and Terence Higgins.
