Guitar Center will host the grand finals of its fifth annual King of The Blues contest at Hollywood, CA’s House of Blues later tomorrow, September 1. The competition aims to find the world’s best undiscovered blues guitarist. The five grand finalists will have the opportunity to share the stage with Warren Haynes in front of a live audience and a panel of celebrity judges. Virtuoso blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa will host the finals, and the winner will take home prizes including $25,000 cash, a studio session with Grammy Award-Winning Producer Pete Anderson and a Gibson Vintage Collectors Series Les Paul 1959 Reissue. Tyler Bryant, the 15 year old winner of the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation’s New Generation Award who recently opened for Jeff Beck, will also perform at the event.
