Percussionist Wally Ingram will perform with Leftover Salmon this coming weekend. On the way to his performances with Salmon in Missoula, MT and Nederland, CO, the drummer will stop in Bayfield, WI for a show at the Big Top Chataqua with Corey Carlson this Friday, August 26. Ingram is slated to appear on Carlson’s forthcoming studio album along with bassist Mark Greenwood. Of the collaboration Ingram says, “Corey is an exceptional musician who electrifies audiences around the Midwest. It’s sweet justice that he grew up here on the ski hill property, influenced by hundreds of past Big Top performers. A very prolific songwriter who is backed by some of the Twin Cities’ finest studio talent, Corey has produced two albums: Seeds and Jukebox Prophecies and is currently working on a new cd in Nashville. His charismatic stage presence, tremendously versatile voice and rock solid instrumentation make him an annual favorite.”
