Widespread Panic performed at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel last night. Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe opened the show and, during the band’s second set, the saxophonist sat in on “Second Skin” and “Goin’ Out West.” Later in the set, Panic tour manager Steve Lopez also added maracas to the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy For The Devil.” The group has not covered the song since July 8, 2008. Panic will return to the Hard Rock Hotel tonight. Lotus will open the show.
