Phish’s Super Ball IX festival will take place in Watkins Glen, NY next week. In celebration of the event, Phish Archivist Kevin Shapiro has compiled highlights from the band’s many festival appearances as Live Bait Vol. 05. The 34-track compilation not only looks back on the band’s eight multi-day large scale festivals, but also includes highlights of proto Phish fests like Ian McLean’s Parties (1987, 1989 ), Townshend Family Park (1989), Amy’s Farm (1991) and Arrowhead Ranch (1991).
