Last night, Widespread Panic returned to the stage for its first post-Bonnaroo performance. The group appeared at The Moody Theater in Austin, TX as part of a two-night ACL Live broadcast. The group opened with a segued sequence that moved from a Jam into “Driving Song,” then “Disco” and back into “Driving Song.” Other highlights included paired versions of “Impossible” and “Smokestack Lightning” during the first set as well as a second-set closing run from “Flicker” into “Pilgrims” and then “Climb To Safety.” Panic also drew out area resident Phil Bass, who added percussion to “Drums.” Tonight the band is back at the Moody, for a performance that fans can stream for $5.
