The members of The Motet will pay tribute to jazz pianist Herbie Hancock over three nights this July. The Herbie Hancock Tribute will make stops in Ft. Collins (7/7), Denver (7/10) and Boulder, CO (7/11) and will focus on Hancock’s classic ‘70s jazz-fusion period. The lineup for the shows will bring together Motet members Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keyboards) and Garrett Sayers (bass), along with former Motet saxophonist and current Big Gigantic frontman Dominic Lalli. As previously reported, The Motet will celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead this Halloween.
