
Canadian folk-rock outfit Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, a group comprised of Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson, will release their new studio album Kings and Queens on June 14. Blackie and The Rodeo Kings will celebrate the record’s release with a performance at New York’s Living Room that night featuring special guest Amy Helm. In addition to being part of her father Levon Helm’s band, Amy Helm leads the group Ollabelle.
Produced by Grammy and Juno award winning producer Colin Liden, Kings and Queens boasts exclusive tracks including such famous female artists as Rosanne Cash, Exene Cervenka, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams and more. The group will also kick off a series of Canadian dates at Winnipeg, MB’s Winnipeg Folk Festival in early July.
