On Thursday Robert Randolph & the Family Band settled in for show two of a three-night stand at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl. Just as the previous evening’s gig drew in some bonus players, so did last night’s performance. Along with previously-announced guest John Popper, the Roots’ Questlove and guitarist Jamie McLean also joined in over the course of the evening. All of these musicians were on stage for the two song encore which included a version of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.” Robert Randolph & the Family Band will return to the Bowl tonight with some additional players expected to join in as well.
