Widespread Panic has just made it official. Due to hazardous weather the group will move Friday night’s gig from Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham, AL to Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, AL. As the group explains at its website, “Meteorologists predict this storm to be the most intense of this season with winds in excess of 45 MPH. Although the heaviest part of the storm should pass before show time, it is impossible to load-in the sound, lights and backline. We look forward to a beautiful performance at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre on Saturday. Doors and show times remain the same and all tickets will be honored at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center.”
Tonight Panic performs at the Wanee Festival in Live Oak, FL.
