As Butch Trucks explains in an interview which just posted to Jambands.com, the Allman Brothers Band will only perform select shows in 2011 while Gregg Allman tours in support of his new disc Low Country Blues. As we previously reported, Allman will join the Steve Miller Band for a series of dates from April 19-27. Some additional shows have been confirmed for May and June with a European tour and a late summer U.S. run set to follow.
