
Childhood friends Nick Kinsey, Brigham Brough and Wyndham Garnett are best known as Dearland, Elvis Perkins’ backing band. The three musicians have also collectively collaborated with the likes of My Morning Jacket, Cold War Kids, Bon Iver, Dr. Dog, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Okkervil River. Outside of the indie rock realm, Nick Kinsey has also performed with AA Bondy, Felice Brothers, Marco Benevento and Surprise Me Mr. Davis. In 2010, the three musicians formed the group Diamond Doves, and the band is currently streaming its first recorded music for free online.
Diamond Doves will tour in March and April. In addition, the group will host a residency at Brooklyn, NY’s Rock Shop and open a series of dates for Felice Brothers
