A soggy setlist

After performing an initial acoustic poolside set on Wednesday, moe. delivered two electric sets on a stage overlooking the ocean as its Tropical Throe.down event continued. Unlike the band’s first performance at the Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana Resort, this one did not see the band bust out any older material, however, the group’s second set in particular proved quite notable. There the quintet offered a fully segued sequence that spanned moe.‘s career. Opening with an invigorating “Billy Goat,” a new fan favorite, an extended jam eventually led into “Hi & Lo.” This song, in turn, moved into an energetic “Brent Black,” which then led into “McBain” before the band charged back into “Brent Black” to close out the set. moe. then returned to the stage for “Awesome Gary,” which has been an infrequent encore choice as of late.
