Over 100 movie theaters nationwide will screen a live performance of Fela! later this month. The Broadway show is based on the life of Fela Kuti and numerous performers in the Fela! house band also are members of Antibalas. The production will be broadcast live in high definition on Thursday January 13 at most of these participating cinemas (with a few airing it at a later date).
