New Orleans’ Tipitina’s Uptown will officially kick off its Mardi Gras countdown tomorrow, November 27. The 3rd Annual 101 Days ‘til Mardi Gras celebration will host the appropriately titled 101 Runners featuring Big Chief Monk Boudreaux. The 101 Runners will share the stage with several additional musicians, including Alfred “Uganda” Roberts (Wild Magnolias, Professor Longhair), Camille Baudoin (Radiators), Willie Green (Neville Brothers) and Jake Eckert (Dirty Dozen). 3Pc. Spicy—Chris Jones, Tom Worrell and Lionel Batiste Jr.—will open the night.
