A diverse range of musicians will pay tribute to the music Bob Dylan created with The Band. What Kind of Love Is This: The Music of Bob Dylan & The Band will take place at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge at December 5. The show’s house band will feature: John Medeski (organ), Larry Campbell (guitar), Steven Bernstein (trumpet), Kenny Wolleson (percussion), Rob Burger (keys/accordion) and Tony Scherr (bass). Numerous guests and vocalists will join the band throughout the evening, including Jolie Holland, Laura Cantrell, Nicole Atkins, John Wesley Harding and The Fiery Furnaces. Campbell and Bernstein are current members of the Levon Helm Band and Campbell is a veteran of Dylan’s backing group.
