The latest side project from Blues Traveler frontman John Popper will yield an album release in March. John Popper and The Duskray Troubadours will see Popper team with guitarist/producer Jono Manson, bassist Steve Lindsay, drummer Mark Clark and guitarists Kevin Trainor and Aaron Beavers. In describing the twelve songs on this disc, Popper offers, “What I love about this album is that I’m playing differently and not because I tried to, either. The music led me there, which is the best way to do it, really. On this album, melody is what drove everything.” The group’s self titled album is set for a March 11 release on 429 Records.
