Widespread Panic and Gov’t Mule shared the stage at Valley Center, CA’s Open Sky Theater at Harrah’s last night. During Gov’t Mule’s opening set, Widespread Panic guitarist Jimmy Herring emerged for “Devil Likes It Slow.” Soon after, Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools, who toured as a member of Gov’t Mule after Allen Woody’s death, emerged for Tom Waits’ “Going Out West.” Widespread Panic opened its set with the same cover two nights earlier.

The members of Gov’t Mule returned the favor during Widespread Panic’s performance.
