Charlie Hunter/Fat Mama keyboardist Erik Deutsch will host a residency at Brooklyn, NY’s Rose. The residency will take palce the second Wednesday of each month, beginning this Wednesday. The keyboardist’s band will boast former Fat Mama guitarist Jonathan Goldberger, Jonah Smith bassist Ben Rubin and Tony Mason on drums. In addition, this week’s residency will feature a set by Brazilian Girl co-founder Didi Gutman and his new band: Hector Castillo (David Bowie, Bjork), bassist Jeff Hill (Rufus Wainright) and Shawn Pelton ( SNL band). The show is free of charge.
