Chico’s House of Jazz will present a number of jamband shows in the coming weeks. The Asbury Park, NJ club was founded by Charles “Chico” Rouse as a way of paying homage and carrying on the legacy of his father, Thelonious Monk’s tenor sax player Charles Rouse. The club’s upcoming jam-friendly lineup includes Jennifer Hartswick Band (9/14), Stanton Moore Trio Featuring Anders Osborne (9/24) and Marco Benevento (10/26).
