Yonder Mountain String Band has confirmed its New Year’s Eve plans. The group will perform at St. Louis, MO’s The Pageant on December 30 and 31. The quartet’s New Year’s Eve show will be an “evening with” performance, while the band’s December 30 show will feature a guest opener.

In related news, Yonder co-headlined Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Leftover Salmon this weekend. Split Lip Rayfield opened the night and Yonder invited out the band’s Eric Mardis (banjo) and Wayne Gottstine (mandolin) for “Isolate” and “Death Trip.” Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman (guitar) and Drew Emmitt (mandolin) later helped the band close the night with “Steam Powered AereoPlain,” “Boatman” and “Ain’t Nobodys Business.” Yonder will perform at Taos, NM’s Taos Mountain Music Festival on September 5.
