Phish closed its two-night run at East Troy, WI’s Alpine Valley Music Theatre last night. Partway throughout its first set, the group busted into a cover of “On Your Way Down,” a song written by Allen Toussaint and made famous in rock/jam circles by Little Feat. Phish likely played the song as a tribute to Little Feat drummer Richie Hayward, who passed away on August 12. Please click here for a selection of memories on the late drummer.
