Last night Gov’t Mule made its way to Glen Allen, VA for a performance at Innsbrook Pavilion. The show took place admits increasingly heavy rain and thunderstorms, which the band referenced later in the first set with a performance of “Driving Rain.” The band then invited out Ron Holloway and Bobby Read for “Dirty Work” and “Devil Likes It Slow” and the precipitation continued to fall. The second set saw Holloway come out for “Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys” and Read also join in for “The Letter” but as the weather situation continued to deteriorate the band was forced to wrap this up with “I’m A Ram” which followed.

The group is on to Boston for a Friday night gig at the Bank of American Pavilion but this evening Warren Haynes and Matt Abts will perform and then sign discs at the Newbury Comics in Boston’s Faneuil Hall.
