On Wednesday night, ALO made their debut at Madison Square Garden, opening for Jack Johnson. After their performance and a set from G. Love, Johnson took the stage, reminiscing about his various New York City gigs, including an appearance at the Mercury Lounge. While ALO’s Zach Gill already is in Johnson’s band, he was joined by the rest of the group. ALO guitarist Dan Lebowitz sat in for a few songs and then bassist Steve Adams and drummer Dave Brogan stepped out along with G. Love and Hawaiian vocalist Paula Fuga for “Better Together.”

Last night, ALO performed a last minute headlining show at Santo’s Party House in New York City and tonight its on to the Virginia Beach Amphitheate with the tour.
