moe. played a seven-song set last night at Cherry Lane Music Publishing’s 50th Anniversary celebration. The red carpet event took place at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl. moe. also played a stealth show at the bowling alley this past January.

The invite-only show featured short performances by a mix of artists currently signed to Cherry Lane, including John Legend, Antigone Rising, Delta Spirit and the first artist signed to Cherry Lane, Tom Paxton. In contrast to his elaborate stage show, Legend delivered a short, solo set accompanied only by a piano. moe. took the stage around 10 PM dressed in the suits the members of the band are wearing in honor of their 20th anniversary. The group’s short set included numerous live staples: “Captain America,” “Not Coming Down,”
“All Roads Lead To Home,” “New York City,” “Tailspin,” “Shoot First” and “Okayalright.” Getting into the evening’s songwriting spirit, guitarist Al Schnier introduced who wrote each song throughout the set.
