The Flaming Lips has rescheduled a handful of shows due to the recent hospitalization of multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd. According to the band, “Doctors are expecting a full recovery within a few weeks. As a result, all immediate shows will be canceled as follows”
Below is a list of rescheduled show:
May 12 – Jannus Live – Saint Petersburg, FL // Rescheduled for: Oct 13
May 13 – House of Blues – Lake Buena Vista, FL – Lake Buena Vista, FL // Rescheduled for: Oct 14
May 14 – St. Augustine Amphitheatre – Saint Augustine, FL // Rescheduled for: Oct 15
In addition, the Flaming Lips will no longer perform at the inaugural Hangout Music Festival. The Roots will replace the band at the event.
