moe. brought its 20th Anniversary Tour to Colorado this past weekend. The three-night run began with a performance at Englewood, CO’s Gothic Theater Thursday night. The run continued on Friday and Saturday with shows at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. Hot Buttered Rum supplied support duties Friday night and invited out moe. guitarist Al Schnier for “Like The French,” as well as moe. drummers Vinnie Amico and Jim Loughlin for “Limbs Akimbo.” Later in the night, moe. invited out Hot Buttered Rum banjo player Erik Yates for “St. Augustine,” HBR fiddler Aaron Redner for a cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” and the entire band for a take on The Band’s “The Weight.”

String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth opened Saturday’s show and later returned to the stage in a cow costume for “Blue Jeans Pizza” and “Mexico.” Latter in the night, Yonder Mountain String Band mandolin player Jeff Austin emerged for “Letter Home,” “Happy Hour Hero and “She.”
