Keller Williams will release Thief, his first album of all-covers, on May 25. The album was recorded with his occasional collaborators Larry and Jenny Keels. The mix of songs on Thief nods to Amy Winehouse (“Rehab”), the Grateful Dead (“Mountains of the Moon”), the Butthole Surfers (“Pepper”) and Kris Kristofferson (“Don’t Cuss That Fiddle.” Williams also covers material by Ryan Adams, the Presidents of the United States of America, the Raconteurs, Patterson Hood, Danny Barnes, Cracker, the Yonder Mountain String Band and Marcy Playground.
