Santana has spent much of the past year performing a regular show in Las Vegas. However, the guitarist will tour the country this summer. Steve Winwood, another veteran performer who blurs the lines between jam and pop, will open for the guitarist throughout his summer tour. The Carlos Santana Universal Tone Tour will “feature hits from Santana’s four-decades-long career, as well as songs from a brand new studio album that Carlos Santana is currently putting finishing touches on.” One notable show: Santana will perform on the site of the original Woodstock on July 17 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
