Gov’t Mule toured Texas this past weekend. During the band’s performance at as Austin’s Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater Friday, Gordie Johnson emerged for “32/20 Blues” and “Broke Down On The Brazos.” Johnson, best known as a member of Big Sugar, produced Gov’t Mule’s 2009 album By a Thread. Saturday night Gov’t Mule performed at Houston, TX’s House of Blues. Carney opened the night and brothers Zane and Reeve Carney emerged at the end of the night to help Gov’t Mule close with Radiohead’s “Lucky.”

Gov’t Mule is off until its appearance at Live Oak, FL’s Wanee Festival this April.
