Bob Dylan will perform at Tel Aviv, Israel’s Hayarkon Park on May 27. The famed singer, who was raised Jewish, famously converted to Christianity in the 1970s and back to Judaism, has not performed in Israel since 1987. Dylan’s performance is part of a series of international stars to Tel Aviv in the coming months. Elton John, who performed in Tel Aviv in 1970s and 1993, will appear at Ramat Gan Stadium on June 17, Rod Stewart will play at Ramat Gan Stadium on July 1 and The Pixies will play at Tel Aviv’s Gane HaTa’arucha on June 9. Metallica will perform in Israel for the third time at Ramat Gan Stadium on May 22.
