England’s The New Mastersounds has confirmed its first round of 2010 dates. After touring Japan and Europe, the funk group will return to the U.S. in March. Salvador Santana, the son of seminal jamband guitarist Carlos Santana, will open for the group throughout its upcoming U.S. tour. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will co-headline a number of U.S. shows with the New Mastersounds.

The New Mastersounds recently released the new album Ten Years On. The album features appearances by Grace Potter, among others.
